Bruno Mars at Super Bowl vs. Justin Bieber: Who Wore the Gold Blazer Best?
In the midst of an underwhelming Super Bowl game in which the Seattle Seahawks completely dominated the Denver Broncos, Bruno Mars took the stage at half time to offer a lively performance perfect with killer vocals, sick dance moves, fireworks, and a mob of his self-proclaimed “hooligans.”
Clad in identical gold Saint Laurent blazers, Mars, 28, and his performing mob belted out several of the singer’s chart-topping hits including “Locked Out of Heaven” and “Treasure” before the Red Hot Chili Peppers joined them on the arena stage for a high-energy collaboration.
And though Mars’ performance made bounty of buzz, it’s his attire that has trapped some eyes. The classy look is reminiscent of Justin Bieber‘s look during less troubled times, at the 2011 Billboard Composition Awards.
Bieber, 19, wore a similar gold blazer at the awards show, while he was still dating Selena Gomez and before his grownup makeover and various run-ins with the law.
